Living a positive life and dedicating yourself to a positive mindset is the life philosophy that helped me heal through many of my traumas. I have trained myself to stop dwelling on what could go wrong and the negatives attached to situations and to instead think of what could go right and focus on trying to pick out the positives that are or will come from each situation. This is hard to do at first due to most of our natural tendencies to look towards the dark side. It becomes easier once practiced more and more.
This does not mean that you go through life believing everything is okay and ignore your problems. This to me means that you go through life living with hope and faith that everything will get better. That your situation now is not your end destination and growth and prosperity is to come. You have hope that even on your darkest days the light will peek through once more until it shines through all the darkness, and you have faith that the world hasn’t turned its back on you and that you will succeed and grow from whatever challenge you are currently faced with. It to me encourages me to face my challenges head on and to want to learn and get the most out of the lesson it holds for me. This allows me to experience tremendous growth and to be able to share the lesson and growth I experienced with others.
